Thank you, thank you! For those of you who helped vote on behalf of the Bartlett Arboretum and Robin Macy, here is an update on the exciting news:

Charlie found the lucky golden ticket and got to enter the fabled Willie Wonka’s Chocolate Factory. Same song. New tune: I am the lucky gal going to Napa Valley as a guest of Markham Vineyards.

Please forward this happy news to any and all who cared so dearly and deeply about this beautiful Bartlett Arboretum. Who took the time to vote for our important project. Who sent along earnest requests to others to do the same
Please visit and celebrate our good fortune with a glass of Markham wine.
With humble thanksgiving,
Robin Macy

Sara! I just got my copy of the “Songs from the Garden” CD a couple of days ago. (For those who don’t know, this is a fundraiser CD from Robin for the Bartlett Arboretum).

I really enjoy this CD – some great songs, and we can certainly hear your beautiful backing vocals on tunes like “Pining For You”. That one sounds like it could have been on the first Domestic Science Club CD.

The clarity of this CD, from the vocals, all the acoustic instruments, is great. And Robin is like Sara – I’d listen to her sing the darn phone book, much less great “message” songs like The Great Outdoors, Wake Up, Simplify. etc.

It’s 18 bucks, from the link on Sara’s message to the Bartlett Arboretum. I’d encourage any Sara fans to pick it up, it’s a great listen. Not one bad song on the disc.
