    What a poignant way to express this mighty truth. And a catchy song too. As a kid I remember wondering if Jesus was God then why would he allow himself to be crucified and why wouldn’t he use his great strength and power to get off of the cross. I’ve grown to understand that, like the song implies, God sacrificed himself by choice, out of the greatest expression of love, to bear the weight of my sins.

    Looking forward to hearing the whole song and more someday soon from you Sara.
