A Sara Hickman eNewsletter for January 8, 2008 HAPPY NEW YEAR, friends near and far! May 2008 be the peacemakin', music lovin', political wave of change needed worldwide to create a world of DIALOGUE and RESPECT and COMPASSION and LAUGHTER. I promise you I will continue to do my part of makin' ripples in the water. If enough of us dip our toes in and do our part, we can create the change we want to see! I BELIEVE IT! So, make a splash, wherever you live, wherever you go... Speak out, sing out, shout out, write about it, dream about it...but put your thoughts into action... and... 2008 will be G-R-R-REAT! In honor of my friend, Larry, who passed away on Christmas Eve: I have a taping coming up at Poor David's Pub, 31st of January in Dallas... please come out and cheer me and Kristin on as we sing our little hearts out for ya! And those of you who have been supporting the "Music For Life" tour to continue the dialogue on the death penalty... thank you. San Antonio last month was a tremendous success! Shelley King brought the house down, and our speakers engrossed the audience with answers to questions presented to them. We will see you in Corpus Christi on the 14th with the amazing Stacey Earle and Mark Stuart. Remember, no matter what your thoughts, come share and hear more about what others across Texas are thinking. Change happens with YOU.
